We had hoped to spend at least part of the winter of 2016/2017 in the Yuma area, but due to poor weather in the southwest, and various health issues, the trip never happened. Now, Spring has sprung here in Vegas, and we’ve finally had our first 85 degree days this week. The forecast for locales further south call for temperatures in the mid 90s. And the TV news tonight is showing the super bloom at Anza-Borrego SP, in CA. We went there last year and it was beautiful, though hot. Bet it will be mobbed now with the extra publicity, but it would be cool if we could tack on another stop there on this trip!
