Remember the song “Get Your Kicks on Route 66”? One line that lists a lot of towns along Route 66 says “Don’t forget Winona.” And so I didn’t forget. Here’s the exit off I-40 to go to Winona. One of the things I don’t like about traveling with a travel trailer is that it’s hard to stop at places along the way on impulse because you always have to worry about finding a place big enough to park. And even worse, if you don’t find a place big enough to turn around! That’s the worst nightmare! And so, we didn’t stop at Winona. But at least we didn’t forget her.
